ATHLETE LEVEL DESCRIPTIONS

   BEGINNER, 0 TO 6 MONTHS –  You’re an  athlete just learning mechanics in/or reinforcing foundational movements through consistency and developing a solid foundation for the addition of intensity stimulus. You can either just be introduced to CrossFit or maybe even the seasoned athlete who’s taking it back to the rock solid basics.

   INTERMEDIATE, 6 TO 12 MONTHS –  An athlete who’s been CrossFitting long enough to understand and feel comfortable with scaling independently all the standard CrossFit movements. You know and can identify all lifts by name, you have logged and know most of your 1 rep maxes, and you love the kick ass feeling of a great workout!

You’re the athlete ready for supplementation of programming in areas identified by you and your coach with the intention to strengthen deficiencies while meeting and maintaining desired intensity stimulus.

ADVANCED, 12 MONTHS+ – An avid CrossFitter with the callouses and shin scars to prove it. You would spend all day and night training if your coach would allow it. You’re the athlete ready for supplementation of programming in areas identified by you and your coach with the intention to strengthen deficiencies while meeting and maintaining desired intensity stimulus.

STRICT OPEN GYM POLICY AND RULES

RULES FOR OPEN GYM:

  • *Open Gym ONLY for unlimited memberships

  • Only for I (Intermediate) and A (Advanced) athletes

  • Athletes interested in attending Open Gym must meet with Sara or Chausse before being approved and go over more specific rules/etiquette, and review goals of individual athletes wanting to add in extra programming

  • No coaching available, even though a coach will be present, they are training themselves or working. If you can’t work independently, or have a pre-planned out WOD and you continue to ask/interrupt the coach, we will remove Open Gym from the schedule.
